Job Responsibilities

Purpose of Position:
Change Management Assistant Manager/Manager is responsible for driving & implementing Global Organizational Development initiatives especially for strategic digitalization projects. By applying systematic Organisational Development methodologies, the role ensures technological changes are effectively absorbed by the organisation, maximising the return on investment in people, process, and technology, minimising resistance, and ultimately enhancing organisational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Change Management Planning

  • Partner closely with IT project leaders and business leadership to conduct comprehensive change impact analyses, stakeholder analyses, and risk assessments for key digital projects.
  • Develop end-to-end, tailored change management implementation plans for each assigned project, encompassing communications, training, coaching, and resistance management etc.

Organisational Diagnosis and Intervention

  • Utilise professional OD tools and models (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) to diagnose the impact of digital transformation on organisational structure, business processes, job roles, and culture.
  • Design and implement targeted OD interventions, such as team effectiveness workshops, role clarification sessions, and process re-engineering support, to address organisational issues arising during the change process.

Communication and Engagement

  • Design and execute multi-level, multi-channel change communication plans to ensure all key stakeholders clearly understand the reason for the change, benefits, personal impact, and progress.
  • Establish and maintain a network of change champions, empowering and motivating line managers and key project users to become advocates and facilitators of the change.

Capability Building and Training

  • Identify new skill requirements and competency gaps resulting from the implementation of digital projects.
  • Collaborate with the relevant internal team to design, develop, and/or source relevant training and development programmes, ensuring employees possess the required capabilities to successfully adapt to new systems and processes.

Measurement and Evaluation

  • Establish key metrics for change success, and continuously monitor change progress, user adoption, and change effectiveness.
  • Gather feedback through surveys, focus groups, and interviews; regularly monitor the health of the change initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Culture Shaping and Integration

  • Proactively advocate for and help shape an agile, collaborative, and continuous learning culture that aligns with the company's digital transformation goals.

Job Requirements

A. Competencies & Skills: 

 

  • Highly competent in project management and knowledge of agile and change management tools.
  • Superior in organization and priority setting to manage change initiatives concurrently, ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Ability to understand the business from a strategic perspective and influence project teams and business leaders without direct authority, securing their sponsorship for change activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with colleagues at all levels in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to use data and analytical tools to diagnose complex organizational issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to use data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, survey tolls) to measure change impact and outcomes.
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality, trustfulness and a high standard of work ethics
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and deadline driven within a fast-paced, dynamic and customer-oriented environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team with a pro-active, self-motivated and responsible manner.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent Computer skills in MS Office.

 

 

B. Education & Work Experience: 

 

  • University degree in HRM, Organisational Behaviour, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experiences in Organisational Development (OD) or dedicated change management in a multi-national, matrix-organised environment, with the ability to navigate complexity across diverse cultures.
  • Have proven experiences leading or deeply participating in the end-to-end change management lifecycle for digital/IT projects.
